The source of information about golf in Saskatchewan

Thank you for visiting www.saskgolf.ca the most comprehensive amateur golf website in Saskatchewan.

The Saskatchewan Golf Association as it is now organized was formed on January 1, 1999, through the amalgamation of the former Saskatchewan Golf Association (an all-male organization) and the Canadian Ladies' Golf Association (CLGA) Saskatchewan Branch.  The SGA represented the first provincial amalgamation of men's and women's golf associations in Canada. The SGA amalgamation has since been followed by the other provincial golf associations as well as the RCGA and CLGA.  The previous SGA and CLGA-Saskatchewan organizations were formed in 1913 and 1926 respectively.

The SGA's mandate is to represent all golfers in Saskatchewan in an equitable manner. Through affiliation with the RCGA the Saskatchewan Golf Association (SGA) is the governing body for amateur golf in Saskatchewan.

The SGA Mission is … To develop, promote, and govern amateur golf in Saskatchewan while preserving the traditions and integrity of the game.

The SGA develops golf in many different ways including provincial golf championships, player clinics, player camps and grass roots development just to mention a few.  To find out more about the SGA’s programs and membership services please take your time viewing our website.

Please remember to get out and play more golf.
